Beemer Companies History

Beemer Well Drilling Inc. was established in 1916 when Guy Beemer purchased the company from Guy’s father in-law John P. Boeher. Guy’s two sons Bob and Bill were the third generation until 1975 when Bob’s son Pat purchased the company. Pat diversified and innovated the company in the late 1980’s from a well drilling and pump service company to a complete turnkey package including: excavation of foundations to final grading, septic systems, water well systems, and geothermal heating and cooling.

While the company became more diverse in the ever changing construction industry we felt we needed to change the company to a more diverse name. So in 2005 we became Beemer Companies a DBA of Beemer Well Drilling Inc.

Pat’s sons Guy and Lee graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN with degrees in Construction Management. Today Guy and Lee continue to develop the family business as the fifth generation. As Beemer Companies has grown, the variety of construction projects expanded to include a wide variety of project such as: large site development, underground sewer and water, gravity and force mains, municipal and industrial well work, demolition projects, and general contracting. This characterizes Beemer’s strong reputation in the construction industry. Beemer Companies is known as an ethical, reliable and respected contractor for a reason.
